Two errors appeared in the Special Feature article titled "Report of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Canine Vaccine Task Force: Executive Summary and 2003 Canine Vaccine Guidelines and Recommendations," which appeared in the March/April 2003 issue of the Journal [Vol. 39, No. 2, pages 119-131]. In Table 1, in the entry for Bordetella bronchiseptica (killed bacterin)-parenteral [page 126], the text under the subheading Overall Comments and Recommendations should read Optional (Recommended) to coincide with the text. In the same table on page 128, the entry for Borrelia burgdorferi (rLyme borreliosis) (recombinant-Outer Surface Protein A [OspA]) under the subheading Overall Comments and Recommendations should read Optional: Generally recommended only for use in dogs with a known high risk of exposure, preferably dogs living or residing in endemic areas or regions where the risk of tick exposure is considered to be high. The minimum DOI for the recombinant vaccine is at least 1 yr, based on challenge.
